What a Mess!

Text and illustrated by Polya Plavinskaia

Humorous game book to learn counting by an experienced art director and award-winning illustrator Polya Plavinskaia.

Shake the book before opening. Oh no! All the animals got mixed up! Just one crocodile has kept its balance while all the other animals have exchanged their body parts. Let’s shake the book again to restore the order!

On each new page, we count new animals who fall into place while other animals are still in disorder – a frog and a pig have wings, a bird has a caterpillar’s body… On each page, we also get a new piece of advice about what to do with the book in order to properly place all the animals: turn the book upside down, try shaking it very gently, lift it as high as possible, and so on – until we count to ten and we find out that after all, the animals just ran away!
